Mango Puree Cake

Dear aunty,

May I know how did you do the top portion of the cake? Did you first put the cake in a cake ring so that the jelly won't flow to the cake or you cream the cake first then pour the jelly over. However, if you pour the jelly after you creamed it, won't it flow to the bottom of the cake? Really puzzled and hope you can enlightened me.

Hi Cassandra,

I used a cake ring. First I put a layer of sponge cake inside than pour half of the mousse on top. Then I put another layer of sponge cake then pour the balance mousse on top. I put into the fridge to let it set then arrange some fruits on top and then I pour the jelly on top. Sounds long-winded tho..
