I miss these kind of buns so much.... can't find here in rotterdam.
Hi Aunty, your buns look so soft like those commercial ones where you bite and everything just flattens. The bread I make is always very "bouncy" although they taste ok. Is there a secret to making buns which can "flatten"? Hope you know what I mean hehee...

When you beat your dough and find them tough, add in some liquid and let it knead till it becomes soft and pliable.

AH i've been wanting to make these kind of buns too!!! i tink i get what Jam means haha. aunty, is it like dense yet soft and not too sticky n chewy? like those kind that i buy from neighbourhood bakeries. i ll try your method soon :) thx!
