Are these the RLB ones that I mentioned in another post? They look like it - I can recognize from the nut-caramel layer at the bottom!

How was the taste?

Hi anonymous,

Yes after you told me I started getting ready for it and it took me 3m days to prepare. It's nice cos the bread is a brioche plus lots of chocolate chips with ganache filling. Yes the caramel layer is at the bottom but it turned semi-solid, yet soft when you bite on it.
Did yours turned like that too??

Hhmmm...

the bottom looks interesting, is it tough to make this?? coz it looks a little bit complicated with two different texture.

will you share this recipe anytime soon?

Thank you!

Yeah the caramel layer is soft but not sticky enough to stick to the pan. Hard to explain but I think you got the same results! Next time I would put the nuts on to the dough instead - together with the ganache. I love it! But so tedious to make :(

Hi May,

You can get this recipe from the Bread Bible book by RLB. It's very difficult to type out the recipes cos there are too many steps and pages...
