AHHhhh... Aunty, looking at all your lovely bakes makes me hungry in the office. Came across your blog by chance and just wanna say that your skills are superb! U must have heard this a million times! Should open a baking school :D This swissroll using only eggwhites is very healthy, can you send me the recipe pls? Hi Aunty,

Would like to consult you. Some recipes stated baking powder/baking soda required is 10g. How do I measure 10g? Is it 1 teaspoon?

Also, the chiffon cake I've baked seems to have more moisture and not as dry as those sold outside, or as those baked by you. Is it bec. I have not baked long enough?

Hi Mui Mui,

1 teaspoon = 5 gm. of baking powder or baking soda. So for 10 gm, use 2 teaspoon.

As for your chiffon cake, I think you have to increase your baking time and see what you get.

one of the reason my hubby did not really eat cake is because he has high cholestrol, he has to avoid egg yolk. :(
