yummy , the mooncake are full all nuts and more nuts.
i really would love to bake this for my mom, she is nuts....hehehehe
about this type of mooncake (7 nuts mooncake) whenever the season are here.
But i on the otherhand enjoy the tradional white lin yong with double egg yolk, simple as that!
But aunty, u should see the variety of mooncakes found in KL now ...all weird flavour and i dont even dare to try..just choosing one gives me the headache..there just to many flavours...i'll just stick to my fav tradional one . Is it the same situation in singapore as well?

Can u share this recipe as i want to surprise my mon and also mayb i can reduce the sugar as she is better cutting down on her sugar intake as commecial mooncake is are super sweet.

thanks

Your nuts mooncake look so yummy. I will appreciate if u could share your lovely recipe with us. Like Sue's mom, my mom love eating nut mooncake but find the commercial one too sweet for her. In fact, it is becoming more sweet each year. Maybe my tolerance for sweet pastry have change!!!
