Hi Aunty Yochana,

Again you did a good job varying your chiffon cakes. I always check what is the day's specials and daily you churn many variety delicacies with perfection. I can't bake well but it makes me happy you can as we readers get to view your labour of love.
Thanks for sharing and keep up your passion!

Hi Aunty Yochana

Visiting yr blog is like a daily affair for me. I'm really impressed with all your bakes esp. the chiffon cakes - they are really tall and fluffy! How do you achieve that? I do bake occasionally but my chiffon never turns out like yours.

I love chiffon cakes & anything sweet corn. A wonderful combination. Would you mind to share the recipe with me. My email is jogoh_62@yahoo.com. Thank you & always looking foward to yr daily bakes and for sharing your passion with us.

Hi Yeng,

You can get this recipe from the book "Chiffon cake is done" by Kevin Chai.

Just follow the method there and you'll get the same chiffon cake as me.

Hi Aunty,

You never failed to amaze me with all the chiffon creation!!

I've got the recipe book as well, but my chiffon can never turn out as nice as yours :-(

Wanna hold a chiffon baking sharing session? Would love to see you do hands-on demo ... pls include me if there's such a session ^o^

Aunty,

I really love your chiffon cakes, the texture is always so fine. I've got the book, but have not tried it out. Will do so one day. :)

Hi Aunty Yochana,

Wow, your bakery always look so yummy! I really wish to have a bite. I've tried baking pandan chiffon cake several times, failed most of the time :(. It always turn out to be "kueh" texture instead of tall n pluffy! I tried reducing the coconut milk, it's also the fail. Aunty Yochana, can u advise? I baked with 180 degree. Thanks. CY

Gosh what happen? Did some crazy nut leave nasty message again? Although I don't know what that crazy nut has wrote but I hope you are feeling ok. Just want to tell you that you have blessed many of us with your generosity of sharing the recipes with us. Thank you.

Hi Auntie Lucy,

I always log on to see your chiffon cakes bcos they're so tall and nice! I've tried looking for the Kevin Chai book at Popular, but can't find. So I'll just stick to those where you posted your recipe, it's enough for me to practise already!

Read someone commenting that you won't be posting your recipe anymore due to nasty people's comments. It's a pity, but I respect your decision. But pls keep the photos coming! It's an inspiration for me to strive towards your standard of great bakes! When I'm older and retired, I also want to be like you, bake for charity! :)

Hi Aunty Yochana

Tks for yr reply. One more question. When you bake those cupcakes, do you have to put the paper cup in the muffin tray or do you pour the mix into the paper cup directly. Sorry, if its a silly question, cos I've not bake this before.

Tks

Hi Yeng,

cupcakes can either use paper cups or muffin cups to bake. For cupcakes you need to use the above and for muffins, you can either bake with or without paper cups. Just lightly grease the muffin pan if you are not using paper cups.

Hi Mool,

It's either your recipe is not correct or you have deflated the egg white to turn the chiffon cake into kueh. Perhaps your recipe has too much liquid.
