i wld like to try making the buttermilk doughnut,if can't find buttermilk what can i substitute it with? pls help as my daughter has been bugging me to try..thank you so much.
I do love mooncakes but got to control unless I m lucky enough to b like Lucy with pencil slim body. I dont't cook the paste as I buy direct frm Sun Lik (good paste frm HK)short cut.hehehe

yes the paste from sun lik is good...it comes from Hong Kong.

I got the red wine cranberry paste from Kwong Cheong Thye. So how do I make the red snowskin? Can I use the rainbow soda recipe and replace half of the soda with red wine? Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI think your milk with vinegar will turn into yoghurt.
If you can't find buttermilk, you can subsitute with this:
2/3 cup Plain yoghurt with
1/3 cup of plain milk.
