Aunty Lucy, I love Polo Buns .. and yours is so yummy looking. !!

I don't understand why there are nasty people out there posting that kind of comments on your blog, knowing that you are always so generous to share your recipes, and that really made me feel so sad.

God Bless,
Kellie

Hi Kellie,

Thanks to this anonymous nasty person who left such unpleasant and hurtful remarks but nonetheless I'm very blessed to have so many of my blog fans supporting me and giving me such warm words. I'm really very touched.....

Hi Aunty...

I've been wondering...I can see that you baked lots and lots of wonderful food, are they just for the house or are you running somekind of business, bakery or something? If it's just for the house, I wish I am your neighbour! Hahaha...as if you'd give me some huh? Just trying my luck... hihihi... ;-)

wow that is a very unique polo bun!! you know how polo buns normally need two different types of dough? and one turns out crunchy on top?

so is this one just ONE dough?

looks great!! :D is there any pineapple in there??

hi dl1069

Polo Buns - filling is butter and milk powder wrapped with bread dough. Topping is soft dough made of butter, eggs, sugar, milk powder.

the topping is slightly crispy after baking...

Hi Aunty Yochana,
Your polo bun looks great!
It looks like the ones i have in Japan. They call it 'melon pan'. Some of them use melon essence or melon juice for the toppings. Some even sprinkle chocolate chips on top of it...very yummy!!!!

Aunty ,
Do we need to use bread improver for this polo Buns? What happen if we don't use it?

Hi Racheline,

Omit the bread improver if you don't it. It doesn't affect the texture of the bread though.

You were asking me about the google cheque...I didn't expect it too. It depends on how many times the ads were clicked. It's on top of my homepage. It's a small sum but I'm amazed that they lived up to their words.

Aunty Yochana, your polo buns look more delicious that the one I bought this weekend from a bakery in Canada- for my little niece. Your neighbors are lucky to have you living next door. I wish to be one of them...eating each day your wonderful creations and getting advices anytime. I wish you good health and continuing to share with all of us what you do.
If you don't mine to share your recipe with me (at ismemimi@yahoo.com), I like to make more for her big appetite. I will appreciated!
