Dear Aunty, how do you make pandan paste? Do you modify from your lotus paste recipe in your "Traditional Mooncake" post? I really love pandan mooncakes and I wish to make my own paste this year instead of buying from Kwong Cheong Thye. Thanks!
Hi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteSo early ar!
Your mooncakes are very nicely colored.
Did you make your own paste?
Hi Florence,
ReplyDeleteYes..I always cook my own paste and I never add in colouring. The green colour comes from the pandan leaves.

ReplyDeleteHi Jam,
ReplyDeleteI blend pandan leaves and squeeze out the juice and add into the lotus paste while frying. Use the same recipe as the traditional lotus paste.
