Hi Aunty

In terms of taste, which cake is nicer? Golden Butter Cream Cake or sour Cream Butter Cake. They both seem to hv very nice textures. May I know what brand of butter do u use for baking ? Can I request for the recipes pls?

TIA. Goodnite.

Both are equally good Melbourne Gal. I use any unsalted butter that is available on the shelf...like Lurpak, Anchor, elle Vier

Hi Aunty

Thx for the reply. I reckon the cakes baked with Lurpak must be the tastiest. It is the most expensive butter in the supermarts here & I hv yet to try baking with it. The local butter costs abt 1/3 its price.

I also notice all your cakes hv such an even colour & level top. Any secrets u can share with me pls? My cakes do come out dome shape most of the time.

TIA again.

Cheers.

Hi Aunty,
How are you? I've just came back from my leave. Very nice cake. Can you please share the recipe with me? Thanks!

Hi Melbourne gal.

Try baking with all room temperature ingredients. If your dome has disappeared, do let me know...I'm curious too.

Hi Aunty could you pretty please share this recipe for the Golden Butter cream cake with me. I do love dairy and the word "cream" means that this is a must bake cake for me.
