HI Lucy, is this a SMALL chiffon cake? If the recipe ask for 9 inch chiffon cake tin and we want to half the recipe, what size cake tin is best use? Thanks in advance.

HI eileen,

I normally go by the no. of eggs used.

For 2 eggs, I used 16 cm.
3 eggs, 18 cm.
4 to 5 eggs - between 20 to 23 cm.
6 eggs - 23 cm.
7 eggs - 25 cm.

Hi aunty yochana

I believe what cake tin according to no of eggs depends on the size of egg.

May i ask you yours is based on what weight of the egg (including shell)?

Thanks!
