hi Aunty Yochana!
the heart shaped donut is so adorable!!!
Any success with Krispy Kreme-taste-alike donuts yet?? :)
Cheers!

hi ioyces,

I think I have to dip more glaze onto the donut and see whether it dries up like krispy kreme.

Getting cold in Adelaide. Do wear thicker clothes and take care.

Hihappychia,

I did not use a donut machine. I use a heart shape cutter to cut out the hearts and use a plain round ring to cut the center.

Lucy,
Very creative shapes and nice donuts.
I think homemade ones taste better than Krispy Kreme ones. I find the KK ones too sweet. :D

You are right Florence. It's very easy to achieve the texture of KK - only the glaze is a problem.

I also feel that KK's donuts has a funny aftertaste. Taste like plastic to me. Whereas homemade, eat one is always not enough.

Hi Aunty Yochana! It being my very first time visiting your blog and its seems too interesting to resist. Anyway I wanna know where do you get most of your cake mould and the donut maker too.
Most of your mould look very nice, cute and interesting too. :) Roszie

Hi Rosie,

I got the donut maker from Thailand. You can buy cake moulds from Sun Lik , Chong Trading and Phoon Huat.
