coffee ang ku kueh..a taste i have yet to try. Aunty lucy..the ku kueh looks very glossy and nice especially the generous filling.Does it bring out the coffee smell. Can you share the recipe as i think many loves eating this kueh.
actually it's very easy, instead of putting pandan juice or red colouring, I added in nescafe mixed with hot water plus some coffee paste too. The fillings are all standard...bean paste, coconut fillings or peanut fillings.
Hi Lucy i looooove ang ku kuehs. is this recipe similar to your pandan ang ku? what is split-skinned green beans called in chinese? or is it the same as the green beans? rgds

ReplyDeletehi sue,
ReplyDeletenormally for ku kueh we have to brush with some oil thus the glossy look. It's nice and soft with the coffee taste.
