thanks for the advice.i love ur blog and it really inspires me to bake even more whenever i have free time. i'm a med student btw.some of the pretty cakes u posted up do not come with the recipe, or u posted somewhere else?hope u will post them here. once again thanks so much!!
well, everything u've done it's worth it. it makes so many ppl happy and for example me, it'some kind of de-stress therapy by looking at ur blog!hehe. about the cutting the cake, do i make a sawing movement or just keep the knife parellel cut it down at once or keep the knife at an angel?
It depends on what you're cutting. If you cutting a cake, do the sawing action and if it's a biscuit base, saw a little just to get a depression and then press it down lightly.
Will you please give me the recipe to this cake? Also, I am not familiar with the measurements you use on other posted recipes. If you could either convert the units to fractions of teaspoons, tablespoons and cups or help me locate a conversion chart that would be so helpful. My email address is trent_alana@mail.com Thank yo in advance for sharing, if you can. -Alana

aunty,
i've been wondering how do you cut the cake?when i cut the cake i don't get a neat cut, it always have residues at the edge,..any tips on that?
Hi anonymous.
To cut the cake, get a good serrated knife like Victorinox. Sun Lik sells this. Good knife to invest in.

Hi Alana,
You can actually convert it yourself.
e.g.
1 cup = 250 ml. or gm.
1 tsp = 5 gm.
If you don't know...you can email me again.
