The cake looks so pretty with all its pastel stripes. And are those coloured sugar sprinkles on top? Is it vegetarian because it has no eggs in it? But it still looks so fluffy and soft.
Hi Aunty, It has been a while since I left a note. Busy preparing for my trip and doing part time work. This vegetarian cake is just LOVELY! It doesnt look like it doesn't contain eggs at all. Kudos to you. How do you do the spiral? And how do you make it so fluffy and gently domed? The cake I used to make always crack on the top. Anyway, lovely bakes again. Thank you.
Just divide the batter into 3 parts, add colouring of your choice and then scoop layer by layer into the cake tin , on top of one another till finished.

Jam.
Yes this cake doesn't need to use eggs cos I used vegetarian sponge mix. Those on top are coloured sugar sprinkles.
