Pls pls can you share the lapis egg white recipe, as I would love to bake it for my mum, who has cholestrol problem. Thank you. Its so inspirational just by looking at your wonderful bakes everyday.
I read fenying blog on soon kueh....it seems like so many people tried and have problem with the skin. Did you encounter any? Any tips to share? How did you find the soon kueh? Does it turn out fantastic?
Oh really.. I didn't read the comments..cos I've no time.
My comments of this soon kueh: easy to do and it has a slightly chewy feeling when you bite into it. The fillings is delicious. over all, the soon kueh is not bad if you like the chewy skin. If you don't like too chewy, add in more rice flour and cut down the tapioca flour. Note: the next day I still eat it, quite O.K. There are some soon kueh whereby after a few hours, it's as hard as rock.
Dear aunty yo, Can you pls post the lapis egg white recipes? or perhaps you can e-mail me if it is not convinience to post it. I'll drop you an e-mail.
My hubby have high cholestrol, I'm trying to help him to control and cut down the egg yolk intake. He love to eat lapis cake, but I allow him to take one or two slice only. :(
Oh no.. It seems that the recipe has been removed from that blog.. Anyone still have a copy of the Soon Kueh recipe? Please send to me at riva@windowslive.com. Thanks!
