Lucy, I have few girls very interested in how you assemble the Kek Lapis.
If it is not too much trouble... could you make few shots along the way just to get an idea? Whenever you make a new one.

I've got the idea... but they want to see in pictures.
We, in Europe never seen cakes like these.

And I have few questions.
1. This cake was baked in 3 parts?
One in colors that was cut in triangles and shaped as a diamond. The part below and the upper part.
Did you insert the diamond while baking or they were assembled after baked separately?

2. You mentioned jam as an assemble part. Do you use cream too?

Thanks a bunch, I am visiting your page regularly, you are getting better and better all the time.

Love to you and much health to your family.

PS. You can find my on the Forum at IK

Thanks millions
Vi

Hi Vi,

Long time no Talk huh...I hope everything is fine with you.

Oops...this cake takes a lot of time and I will definitely snap a step by step photo cos my explanation is no good.

I used only strawberry jam (thick ones) to stick them together. No whip cream at all.

I have to bake them separately and then stick them together and then rebake again.

cheers..

Thank you Lucy, I appreciate the effort.

I am fine and everything is OK... only I have been busy a lot. I hope you and your family is doing well.

I was surprised to see my girls being interested in your Kek Lapis.

They are your biggest fans, and they visit your blog very often.
They say you have golden hands, and they are right.

I'll wait patiently whenever you are making another cake. No rush there.

Thank you again.

Best wishes
Vi
