I got my layer cake book today.. after seeing your baking, I'm disappointed in the book presentation. Your layer cakes and jellies are par excellence Lucy...:)

Hi Aunty

Your layer cakes look so nice..

I've tried this before...from 'Sarawak Layered Cake' by Rabiah Amit...but the result was not like yours. May i know did you follow the recipe exactly from the book.

Hi anonymous,

Yes I followed the recipe to the T. No changes. My good friend who is an author of cookbooks bought two of Rabiah Armit's books as a gift to me , also told me that her recipes are failure type. Most of the recipes fail when she trid them but surprisingly so far...mine turned out good. Don't be disheartened, try again.

Kwa kwa,

no not jie lak...very nice. The ice-cream powder is just a small amount only. This is not my creation (psst...I'm not so clever lah) ...it's by Rabiah Amit. hahaha

wow...after the long wait you finally got your books huh.. You know looking at cakes over the screen normally will look better than books. Anyway, thank you so much for your kind words and I'm sure you'll be able to do what I did and thank you so much for your presents. Xie Xie....
