hi there aunty
my little girl's school is having a gathering and I wanted to try my hand out at baking fudgy brownies. but I tried some recipes where it is too fudgy and some that are too cakey.
Do u think you can share a recipe that is just perfect? like those they sell in cafes or in mrs fields, starbucks etc?? I cant seem to find a good one. Thank you so much.
Aunty Lucy, yummy creations you posted...the choc marvel cake looks good,as does this blueberry muffin. I just posted one of my fav recipes at I.K...blueberry but with apple...a must try!!
What you can do is buy a small periplus book - Women's Weekly - Brownies. I saw it selling in NTUC and book store. There are a lot of brownies inside. You can see from the pics what you actually want and you can try it. I will try and see if I can find something not too fudgey and something not too cakey but it takes time. Think I will run and buy the small book too. I'll try my best..
Agnes, think I can help you out. I prefer my brownies fudgey...and definitely not cakey. But the one from William Sonoma's site has a good balance, try it. http://www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/recipedetail.cfm?objectid=9ED5D2D3%2D139D%2D411B%2D97056B6F80993607
