do have a go at some of the recipes here. Have fun..

pinkconfetti, don't be too hard on yourself. Everybody start from sratch. Don't worry about bringing food for the pot luck. You can just bring your stomach along. Some of the members never bake themselves...it's store bought.

how long have you baked? *wondering how long before i can even attempt your cakes* i'm at the cookie stage now ^_^

Hi pink,

though you are at the cookie stage, you can start baking a butter cake first. No need to wait too long. You might be an instant success baker. Never know...have some confidence.
