Hi Aunty Yochana,

I just found your site and was really impressed looking at all your cookies and cakes.
I saw in a bakery shop selling sugee flour. Can I use this instead of plain flour? I read in some of the comments that if we need the recipe, I can request you to email me? Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sherrie,

If you want a coarser texture and taste, yes you can use sugee flour. Sugee flour can be used for many types of cookies.

Hi auntie

What can I replace the ground almond with? And what brand of ghee you used? Is this the type of sugee where it melts in the mouth?

Thank you for this recipe! Sugee cookies are easy, taste nice and look different than all my other sorts and sorts of my friends. I have prepared them as a new sort for last Christmas and am just bakind them again this year :-) PS. I substitute ghee by plain butter without clarifying it.
