A quick question, Lapis cake must be cooked layer by layer. Is it possible to use a butter cake recipe and cook it layer by layer, and so it become lapis cake?? Please advise; August 03, 2008 4:20 pm

I've not tried that but I think it will become dry cos lapis has more egg yolks then egg white.
