Ha Ha...I cheated...this is a coffee jelly premix which my dear friend bought from Taiwan...
I just wonder how the coffee can turn sour?? it's funny hor... As far as I know, it's normally agar agar powder, gelatine powder, sugar and water. Some coffee granules mixed with hot water and add into the mixture. I don't see any part that can make it turn sour. Perhaps if you let me see your recipe, I can tell you how it turned sour.
I really enjoy your blog very much. Very creative bakes everyday! I always wanted to try a molten chocolate recipe but there are so many on-line. Would you mind to post yours and give some tips because i know this is not an easy to achieve bake. Thanks & happy new year!
He just followed the instructions in the jelly mix. But added his own coffee. He waits for the coffee jelly to cool first, before putting it into the fridge. I think that's why it turned sour.
Have not seen your post for the past few days - hope everything is well and you are in good health enjoying a well earned holiday !! Just a quick question on buttermilk. It is quite difficult, if not impossible, to get buttermilk - however buttermilk powder is available in the baking supplies stores. Do you have any idea as to the proportion of water to powder to get a cup of buttermilk ?? The store keepers are unable to help. Thank you and take care. Joyce.

Hi aunty yochana,
That's a nice pretty hello kitty jelly. My hubby tried making coffee jelly/pudding. Somehow the coffee turns sour. Any tips on how to prevent it?

Dear Jocye,
You can replace buttermilk with yoghurt.
I have never come across buttermilk powder but I think 2 scoops (if it's the scoop for making baby's milk) to a cup of water.
