So nice and amazing! Hee. Anyway aunty, i got ur pineapple tarts recipe from ur index but my food processor doesnt seems to have the pulse button. So is it possible to subsititue with other equipments? Thanks! =)
I didn't post any pineapple tart recipe yet but will do so soon. Anyway, you can mix it using your fingers.. You can still ask me anything even if it's not my recipe.
Actually recipes repeats and repeats and most authors just do some slight changes and called it theirs so it's the same for me. I got my recipes from books and some created by me.
Hi Aunty.. was just about to ask if you are okie as there were no postings for the past few days and tadah! A new entry! Glad that you are fine and hope you enjoyed your trip! :)
Thanks Rae for your kind concern. I did enjoyed every holiday...cos our family will get together , chatting and eating together whereas if we are at home, everybody will do their own stuff and u don't get to communicate much. So whether the weather is hot or cold, I still enjoy the closeness I have with my family.
Hi Aunty. This is so so beautiful! I'm thinking of making this for my grandma. She is so gonna love this. It's just plain agar2? What did you use to get the birdnest effect? Looks like strips of lemon to me :) Btw, how do you mould the agar2 eggs so perfectly? Plz advice me. I really want to give my grandma a surprise. Thank you so much.

Oh. That means you just empty the egg thru a small opening on to of the shell. Pour a little agar2 for the yolk. Once it sets, pour another coloured agar2 for the white? I presume the agar2 that binds the "bird nest" together is plain? What about the shredded agar2? Is it plain with colouring or you added some flavouring to it? Sorry to ask so many qs. I hope I can make this. Thanks a lot Aunty. You are a genius!

Hi mei,
Those strips are agar agar. You set the agar agar and then use a shredder to shred it. For the eggs, I used empty egg shells to do it.
