Cottage House Christmas Log Cake
Everything in this cottage house christmas log cake is edible including the christmas tree..opps..santa claus is inedible.
No it's not a cupcake...it will be too big. I used cake crumbs and added in some butter cream and moulded it into a cone shape, then pipe the leaves on it.
Wow...Lucy...this is incredible...my ds J says. He doesn't believe that you can make such a beautiful log cake and cabin. He kept insisting that you bought it from Bangawan Solo....hehehe. I've never seen such bakes at Bangawan leh ...:-)
Thanks so much... I will try it out. And once again thanks for your pretty pictures tat really bring inspiration to me. Just by looking at all the pictures that you posted had given me a sense of satisfaction already. =)
Ho Ho Ho.. Santa Claus is coming to town... Is that a cupcake hidden under that X'mas tree? Pretty logcake, Aunty Yochana.

Hi Aunty Yochana,
ReplyDeleteWill u be posting a recipes on how to make a Christmas log cake? I hope to be able to try it out too.... =) This is really very beautiful.
Hi Cuen,
ReplyDeleteYou can use any swiss roll recipe and make a swiss roll.
Cut two pieces out and then put one on top and one on the side and then you cream with fresh cream and decorate.
You can decorate as desired.
