250 gm. Mozarella Cheese
2 Tbsp. Garlic oil - fry some oil with some garlic

(4) Half-bake the pizza dough for 10 to 15 mins. then remove from oven.
(5) Spread tomato paste and chille paste onto the pizza dough. Sprinkle some mozarella cheese on top and place all the remaining ingredients on top.
(6) Sprinkle balance mozarella cheese on top and pour garlic oil over it.
(7) Bake at 200C for about 20 mins. or till cheese turns golden brown.
(8) Remove from oven and serve hot.

* You can use any topping you desire like prawns, tuna, cuttlefish rings and clams.

Hi Yochana,

I made pizza this evening, but somehow the crust has quite a strong 'yeast' smell, how can I reduce it? As I couldn't find any oregano, hence I went ahead the recipe without it, could this be the reason of having the 'yeast'smell? Thanks.

Aunty Yochana said...

Hi Leen,

It's only 1 tsp. yeast so the smell shouldn't be that strong. You can cut down to 3/4 tsp. then.

Hi aunty,
May I know what could have caused the base and sides harder than the center portion? I use all purpose flour as I do not have plain flour. Thank you!

Aunty Yochana said...

Hi leen,

Normally centre will be a bit more wet than the sides because of your fillings and furthermore your sides are exposed to more heat causing it to be more crispy.

Can I just skip the oregano in this recipe?

Thanks and regards

Aunty Yochana said...

Oh yes, definitely you can skip the oregano.

Yeast contain alcohol?
Mm...something new to me.

My muslim students never tell me about it although I taught them bread. I think they have got the halal yeast. I will ask them and get back to you.
