Hi Lucy ...
Both look yummylicious.
May I ask how is the wrap in the Fantasy Cake done? Like swiss roll but it doesn't look round. I'm curious :-) tia

Hi Aunty Yochana,

I remember in your previous post - you mentioned a baking supply store at Adelphi - I went there (forgot the shop name) but found out they were closed. Do you know what time the shop open? I'm from Petaling Jaya-Malaysia. For my next trip to Singapore, I would like to visit the shop again.

Regards.

Hi aunty,

did you use MMF for your fantasy slices? The book says use store bought but I am a bit worry store bought fondant may not taste nice.

Cheers,
Alice

Hi,

chawanmushi, it's not a swiss roll, just stack one cake on top of one another.

Hi Agnes, the shop's name is "Chong Trading" and they close at 5.00 p.m. 2nd floor. Perhaps you should call them before you go..6360 0560

Hi Alice and cranberry, yes, I used MMF and I like it. It has a chewy marshmallow feeling and taste. The store bought fondant are equally good.

Hi anonymous, which cake mould are you referring to? The truffle cake just use a 8" round cake tray and for the fantasy cake, just use a rectangular pan. Both can get from Sun Lik at 33, Seah Street.
