this is glutinous rice paste cooked in water then coated with coconut fillings.

My mum (Hainanese) used to make this for us, I love it, very chewy. My grandfather in China made this to earn a living long long time ago. My mum also likes 'Yi Bua' and 'lap' which I've never tried before.
BTW, my mum called this 'Gu Tai Art'.
