  7. Hi Aunty Yochana

You have very interesting bakes & deserts. I enjoy visiting your blog & reading the comments.

This cotton cheesecake looks soft & delicious. Do you steam bake it? I notice that this recipe is not available in your cake index. Is it possible to share this recipe? I would like to try it

Recently, I started to bake again & I tried your strawberry swirl cheesecake recipe - it turns out delicious. My children & friends enjoy it very much :) But presentation is not very good - the cake has a fine crack which split open even bigger after I took it out of the fridge. I suppose it is due to using a normal lined baking tray. Also I find it difficult to cut the cake without having crumbs falling off & the cheese always sticking to the knife. Any advice here.

Thank you for sharing your recipes.

  10. I never have such a perfect "Side" for japanese cotton cheesecake, which is firm and straight. Aunty, u leave the cake in the oven till it's completely cool or u remove the cake while it's still hot? Did u line paper both bottom and side? Thanks

  12. Hi Yochana,

Is this recipe same as your orange cotton cheesecake? I've tried baking cheese cakes from other recipes but failed, so sad. Btw, what is the ht of the tray & ht of water for steam bake? Can I use a square tray?

    Thanks.

  15. Aunty Yochana, your cotton cheese cake look so nice. What is the secret of not having a waist shape when cooled? As I have once tried but it did not have the straight side like yours. Can you share your recipe and tips?

  19. Hi,

Your cheesecake looks beautiful. I tried making it 2 times but failed- my cake was VERY moist and almost like souffle/pudding texture instead of the light cotton soft cake texture that I want. I followed the recipe on dianasdessert.com. Since you are a cake master 'si fu', do you know what might go wrong? Also, do you mind sharing the recipe? Thanks, Regina
