  3. Hi Lilian,

Yes you can use cocoa powder. While boiling your milk, add in about 2 Tbsp. Cocoa powder (at this juncture, you have to judge because cocoa powder has many many qualities, so colour is also different). I would suggest that you you should also add in some melted chocolate - up to your taste.

  4. Hi cui,

Thank you so much for your lovely swiss rolls. We love it so much. Popo and Joanne ate so many of the durian swiss rolls. The kaya swiss rolls are equally good.

    Rgds.

  5. Hi Aunty

I have tried your Macaron recipe last week..this is my 1st time & i hve never tried macaron B4! btw what will be the texture like? Mine managed to get the "skirting"
crispy outside but kind of chewy when bite...but is super sweet...how to cut down the sweetness?

  7. Hi aunty:
This is nice! May I have your recipe? Thanks.

  8. Hi LC,

Once there's filling in the macaron , it will not be sweet anymore. cutting down sugar might not produce the skirting or the feet.

  16. Hi maine_maine

Yes you can use a loose base tin but you must wrap the tin with aluminium foil to prevent seeping of water while baking (steam bake).

  17. Hi maine_maine

Baine marie means Steam bake. Place a tray of water into the oven then sit your cheesecake into the water till it reached about 1/2 the height of the tin.
