  6. Looks so delicious. Drool drool...
    Bet there weren't any leftovers.

What cream did you use for the filling? Doesn't look like the normal vanilla.

  7. Had a closer look at the title and noted it was coffee eclairs. Hence, it was coffee cream as fillings. haha! Too engrossed
    marvelling at the photos ;p

Please do share this recipe when you have the time. Thank you.

LOL! Nice shot of your hands - you must have great metabolism - do you eat everything that you baked?!

  16. Very nice Elairs! Wondered what are those tiny dots sprinkled on the eclairs? Could you please tell me briefly how to make those dots coz never figure out what are these...

  17. Hi Aunty Yochana

You have got steady hands, all your choux pastry are evenly spaced. You have to give yourself credit for that.
Did you use Dairy Whipping Cream for the filling, doesn't look like custard.

  18. Hi Aunty,
Next time, must show us your face already, ok! Or maybe sideview! Aiyah, I always imagine you are "fat", wow, you're so slim, I must change my impression of u now.

    Kium

  19. oh my, how do you bake and eat everyday and still so slim!!!

BTW how do i reduce the portion for your recipes? Just half all ingredients?

I tried making cupcake they tasted nice but very dry, did i do anything wrong?

    Thansk, from Sarah

  20. Hi Sarah,

hahaha....not all bakers are fat. I noticed most of my friends who bakes are slim too..only 1 or 2 fat only. The baking in actual fact made us slim because we move a lot unlike those who just eat and don't move.

If your muffins are dry, it could be due to your eggs, probably too small. Try adding in extra eggs or milk and you'll definitely get a moist muffin

  24. Hi Aunty, don't have your email so need to ask you a question here. I intend to get a tabletop oven, which would you recommend among these; Delonghi, Baby belling and Rowenta?

    Thanks

  25. Sorry forgot. Maybe you can email me with your comments on the ovens to: maya2715@hotmail.com

    Thanks much!

  26. Hi,
Your Eclair looks yummy! Ermm... I'm getting hungry...

  27. Hi Maya,

Baby Belling is a very good oven and it's very good for lapis. The only problem is that it can only accomodate a maximum size of 11" x 11". I don't know about the new models but mine is like that and it's very durable. I have 2 baby bellings which lasted until today (it's already 23 years old) - antique hor??

I have not used Delonghi and Rowenta. I'm using an Ariston oven too. If you can buy EKA, it will be superb. I have an EKA oven and it produces wonderful results. I bought my EKA from the cake book author William Tan - KL, Malaysia.

  36. Oh really Lucy, because rumor has it(eye-witness!) all your baked goods were made by your workers..........

  37. Hi KC,

Workers?? I wish..... I'm just a homebaker with a maid and an old mum. I have a lot of witness to it too....

My office has nothing to do with baking....this I have witness too.

You seems to be a trouble causer with false evidence. Can you name your so-called witness? I have held forum parties in my house - both Imperial Kitchen and Jo's Deli and a lot of them knows me. So becareful with your words and so-called evidence. I also have fans that visited me plus those who ordered bakes from me.
