it's a layer of sponge cake, top up with a layer of mixed berries jelly then the cream cheese filling on top.

ReplyDeleteCan I ask is the first layer a biscuit base and then you pour the sponge cake batter on top to bake first and finally pouring in the cream cheese layer and bake again using steam bake?

ReplyDeleteYes bottom is a biscuit base, pour in jelly layer and then top up with an already baked and sliced sponge cake. Top up with cream cheese filling and then steam bake till cooked.

Thx aunty. Do u have to wait for the jelly to set before topping it with the ready baked sponge cake? Can I have the jelly layer recipe pls and is it a 9" pan size cake?
