  10. Hi aunty yochana, I would like to ask u some questions. I would like to know if u have any idea that selling cakes at home need to get registered? and do u know if i registered for my company is there any tax or anything that i need to declare every yr?

  12. Hi Patissier J

Recently in one of the forums they were discussing about this problem of selling cakes are home.

I think you have to make a call to the authorities to ask whether you are allowed to sell cakes without registering for a company. I think last time Bengawan Solo's boss Anastasia had this problem when she first started her baking sales.
I'm keen to know more too.

  18. oh aunty,i just LOVE these. Must try for deepavali or sth, it looks so unique. the dough here looks much wetter than normal tart dough, how did it turn out? Oooh and mangosteens are my faves. Can you just use the normal dollar plus colouring, cos i tried before with dough and it didn't turn out so well. Could you pls post the recipe when you have time. oh and aunty, how come you dont sell your bakes ah? since i know that baking is a super expensive hobby and you seem to use premier products. again these are super cute, never come to your blog for 2 days and i missed so much already ;) seriously, you need to open a AUNTY YOCHANA'S BAKE SHOPPE and i'll be your most devoted customer! failing which, I need to save up pots of money to buy a condo in your estate!

  20. aunty, the tarts are simply gorgeous!

fyi, from what I know, even if you register as a company, you cannot bake at home. You need a proper place to do your baking to sell.

  22. Oh Thanks for your info KWF.

I'm just wondering how so many blogs advertise in their blogs selling their bakes? Don't the authourities go after them? Recently I read in the Newspaper about a dentist's wife who sells her Homemade Cupcakes.
    Funny??
