i would like to try making cakes & muffins, but i do not have any electric mixer.. may i request for some recipes from you, which do not require electric mixer? (kohhuishan@gmail.com) thks alot alot!! :)
When I was a little girl, my mum used to make beautiful butter cake without a machine. All she needs is me and my sister with a wooden spoon.
I will use a wooden and stir the butter and sugar vigorously while my sister will use a hand whisk to whisk the eggs and sugar and my mum will then combine both together , alternating with the sieved flour.
I used the box chinese red dates - sweetened. Normally a lot of household will buy these red dates for chinese new year. I will try to snap a photo of it and post.
