    Just a simple cake but the decorations are breathless! thumbs Up aunty, not only baking goodies are your forte but also your decorations. How I wish I live with you, truly I would not let a single day goes by without saying....ooooohhhhhhh, aaaaaahhhhhh, yum yum! :P

    Hi Lucy, lovely cupcakes, as usual. I like the patterns you used, but not sure what tip # that is. Can you kindly recommend a few Tips # that I should get to get lovely swirls/patterns like yours? There is one that swirls like a rose (not rosette), but don't know which tip that is - someone said it is the Star tip, but there is Open Star and Close Star - don't know which to buy. Your kind guidance is much appreciated.

    Hi Lilee,


    I used Wilton star nozzel no. 16 to 18 depending on the size of the muffin. The tip for rose is a curve. Buy a wilton year book and they teach you how to do it and they also recommend the number of the nozzle.

    it's buttercream frosting. Royal icing is too sweet for me.

    Hi Lucy, thanks for your tip. I found out from KC forum it is Nozzle 2D I'm looking for, for that rose design. WIll have a look at the WIlton year book too. Thanks as usual for your help.
