  9. hi Yochana...

It's me again...your ardent fan! Is there any property for sale next to your home? I'm willing to be your neighbour and student! :-D

Your macarons simply made me speechless... really. They have those lovely frilly skirting/feet! I knew each recipes and photography sessions really took up your time. I read so much of the pitfalls and triumphs of those who indulged into macaron baking. I hope you can share tips using this italian meringue for macaron.

Like I said before, you're blessed with Culinary Fingers and good heart to share those amazing & scrumptious recipes & picts with your followers!

    Merci beaucoup!

  10. How you control the same size ?
Do you need stencil ? saw 1 recipe asking to draw circles on G. paper and pipe accordingly.

  11. Hi akresource,

I just pipe agak agak only. No need to draw circles lah...too troublesome.

  14. ahhhh... It's Pierre Hermé's macaron ice cream sandwich. Really reminds me of this sandwich ice cream blocks of assorted flavours sold by the ice cream man. I would cut into portions or most of time scooped the ice cream out from the box and spread on slices of sandwich bread or buns...then chomp, chomp. Until today my hubby still can't get it why I did that and wonders if it's an asian kind of thing. For me, it brings back memories of my loving mom.

    cheers,

  15. oooh..sorry I forgot to add this. The macaron icecream
started with Pierre Hermé's Miss Gla Gla Collections, and I think the ultimate is Ispahan - icecream sandwich made of rose macaron biscuits and raspberry and litchi sorbet. Great for those hot summer!

  17. Oh SFong

I also love that bread ice-cream sold cheaply by the ice-cream man at the walkway. S$1-00 for a large chunck of ice-cream. I still eat that when I pass the ice-cream man.
