  1. Hi Aunty, how do u get the raisins so well distributed? Did you dust them lightly with flour before folding into the batter/dough?

    The dough is quite stiff, so I knead the fruits in till they are evenly distributed.

  3. Oops Cheryl, forgot to tell you that you should not add flour into the fruits. In fact, sometimes I even soak the fruits in hot water to plump them up and when it's wet, it sticks well onto the dough.

    Any idea where can we get fresh yeast (cake yeast) here?

    What kind of mixer do you used to handle your bread dough ? saw an ad on Y3K mag before,but couldn't recall the brand.

    I used Spar Mixer for my bread. I bought my fresh yeast from Cold Storage in Johor Bahru - Plaza pelangi.
