Mid-Autumn Festival

Here's Wishing everyone A Very Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, especially to my daughter and nephew who are unable to spend it with us....

    中秋节快乐!The egg yolks looks so beautiful! I have weakness for salted egg yolk be it dumpling or mooncake :) Do I have to bake the egg yolk before putting in the paste even it is for baked traditional mooncake? As I was thinking will the baking of the mooncake cook the egg yolk too?

    Tonight our family wl enjoy:
    pure durian, green tea, milo oreo, rum & raisin truffle snowskin mooncake.
    Tis is the 1st year i serve handmade mooncake. Baked one still buy, not practice yet. :)
    thks to yr generousity to share yr lovely n delicious recipes!
    I'm really enjoy reading yr blog.

    You have to bake for at least 5 mins. before wrapping up with lotus paste for baked mooncakes and for snow skin, you have to bake at least 8 mins. This is just a gauge...judge it by the size of the egg yolks.
