  4. Hi Lucy, do you boil the coconut milk? Is the texture 'melt-in-the-mouth' type?

  5. Hi anonymous, this recipe is from the book "new year cookies" and it doesn't boil the coconut milk. I don't quite like this recipe...too bland for me.

    I normally prefer to do the boiling method of coconut milk which will melt in the mouth.

    Saw this link on kueh bangkit. the boiling is done the night before with sugar and pandan leaves.

    I stumbled upon your blog and I must say all your creations look great! Can I ask where did you get the mould for shaping the kueh bangkit? I have always used cookie cutters but would like to try moulding them.

    This kueh bangkit mould can be bought from Sun Lik. I got mine from there.
