Cinnamon Walnut Swirl Cookies




Ingredients for Dough:

2 1/2 cups (330 gm.) plain flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
250 gm. butter
200 gm. (1 cup) sugar
1/4 tsp. freshly grated orange zest
2 eggs

Fillings: Mix together till well combined.

4 tbsp. or 60 gm. butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts ( 1 1/2 ozs.)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder

method:

(1) Sift plain flour, salt, bicaronate of soda together.
(2) Cream butter, sugar and orange zest together.
(3) Add in eggs then mix in the flour mixture. chill in fridge for 20 mins.
(4) Roll dough into a rectangular shape, spread fillings and roll like a swiss roll. Makes 2 nos.
(5) Chill till harden, slice and bake at 160C till crispy.

hi,
wish to ask.. whether the dough is soft n sticky??? i put in the fridge more than 20mins its still soft n sticky... unable to roll.. therefore i damn everythin together...
btw... bake for how many mins??
