Hi Aunty,

Curious! What is Bostock? Is this just the name for this bread or cake?

Li ying,

Bostock is brioche bread, topped with sugar cream, top up with almond cream then sprinkled with almond flakes.

Hi Aunty,

Me too. I also love bread with rich buttery taste. May I know can I add more butter into normal bread recipe or only brioche recipe. How much butter should I add against 300g of bread flour?

Hi Liying,

for normal sandwich loaf bread, it does not contain a lot of fat but for Brioche, it takes in a lot of butter. So you have to choose Brioche for buttery taste.
