Hi Lucy,

I made this using yam after seeing Ginny substituted hers with sweet potatoes and I don't like cooked durian.Taste heavenly. I hardly bake for the last 2 yrs. My son ate 8 tarts in one seating. Thank you for sharing.

How many tarts does this recipe yield and roughly how many grams of dough do you suggest I press into each mould? Also, can I use dessicated coconut in place of fresh grated coconut?Thank you!

Hi Quinn,

take about 20 gm of dough to press into your tart mould. Then again, it also depends on the size of your tart mould.

You can use desiccated coconut but you must add additional milk.

Alright, thanks. But you have no idea how much of milk to add? Or have you any idea how could I turn this into a pure durian tart? Thanks...

Hi Quinn,

Just use egg tart recipe and add in some durian meat.
