Hi Aunty,

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Very nice tarts!
Can I know where did you buy those raspberry? Can't find so nice & juicy ones!!!

Initially thought of making raspberry cheesecake for my mom, ended up replaced with fresh mango instead :-(

thanks,
angeline

hi simcooks,

it's just a flour, sugar, and egg dough. Roll the dough flat, then place into the tin and then bake till cooked.

Dear Aunty Yochana,

First and foremost, happy belated mother's day. I have found your blog by accident and have sinced been logging on to your site to check on new recipes.

I have always loved baking and have just started baking more often recently. I am still new in this so not of all of my cakes / desserts turned out satisfactory.

For example, I always find my cakes cracked in the middle & at times not baked evenly.

As I am from Malaysia, I dont usually get to go to Sunlik or Pantry Magic to get the nice moulds and ingredients. I have been to Wilton KL and trust me, the goods there are not cheap. But I did get the cake decorating set though which costs me a bomb.

I have tried some of the techniques to decorate a cake but I find the icing (buttercream) from books a little too sweet due to the sugar content.

Do you have any buttercream recipes which is less sweet?

Need your kind advise...Thanks.

Regards,
May
