have you considered making cakes to sell (that is if you dont do that already).
some of your cakes are so tasty and unusual/attractive looking, i think you could get some sales on etsy.com.
(obviously i dont know the foodselling laws where you live) but i think myself and lots of other people would buy your cakes.

Thanks cranberry for your compliments.

Dizzy,

I steam the coloured layer first then cut into strips of 7 and then cut slanting for top to the bottom and then arrange on the steamed cake.

Hi Lucy,

Is there a way to prevent water vapour from entering the cakes when trying to open up the lid to check if the cake is done? How did you do your steaming?

Thank you

Good Afternoon Aunty Yochana,

Which meant that you cooked the stripes then arranged in the cake pan and steamed again after adding more batter? Sounds kinda of complicated. I am amazed at all the beautiful cakes you have made.

Cheers again,
Dizzy

hi anonymous,

hold your breath, count 1 2 3 and quickly open the lid with super fast hands. wipe the cover before putting back on the steamer tray.
