Dear Yochana,

These cookies look delicious! My favourite type of cookies are simple buttery ones. Did you put the jam on top before or after baking? Because last time when I baked jam tarts all the jam just bubbled up and made a mess of the cookies. So sad!

Jam,

I pipe in the jam after the cookies are baked. Supposed to bake for another 5 mins. but I forgot to put on my timer and in the end, I also overbaked it.

i used to eat them by boxes while in england ..that's how much i love this buttery cookies. Do u mind sharing this great recipe as i think many children will love them .thanks
